Friends of Sierra Leone(FoSL) is a non-profit organization dedicated to "serving Sierra Leone"[1]. They have ofer 500 members, the majority who are former Peace Corps volunteers.

[edit] Gift of Limbs

FoSL recently sponsored a project called Gift of limbs (GOL)[2]. It found eight amputees,mostly children, and fitted them with prosthetic limbs. The orphaned/abandoned children were also found homes for.

This project was completed.

[edit] Distance Education[3]

FoSl bought a generator to power a youth radio station. This would provide some education for many the Sierra Leonian children who get little or no education.

This project has been completed.
