Friday the 13th is an upcoming 2009 remake of the 1980 slasher film of the same name. The film is currently being filmed in Austin, Texas. Marcus Nispel will be directing the film while Michael Bay will be producing. The screenplay was written by Damian Swift& Mark Shannon, who also wrote the screenplay for Freddy Vs Jason. The film will star Derek Mears as the iconic Jason Voorhees with Nana Visitor rumored to be playing Pamela Voorhees.
