Friday The 13th is an upcoming 2009 Slasher remake, directed by Marcus Nispel and written by Damian Shannon and Mark Swift. The movie will star Jared Padalecki, Danielle Panabaker, Amanda Righetti, and Derek Mears as Jason Voorhees. The movie is set for release on February 13, 2009.

After Pamela Voorhees' son is killed accidentally at Crystal Lake, she seeks vengeance on the camp counselors. After her murder in the hand of the employees, Jason returns from the bottom of Crystal Lake to finish off the surviving counselors.
