User talk:FreepRipper
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The article Black Spy (game) has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.
Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki 05:32, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
This was your article, in full:
"A 2-6 player card game that closely resembles Hearts except there are five suits where only the black suit counts for points. The main difference from hearts is that you can match either suit or number when playing and the "black spy" cards (of which there are 6) count 10 points against you."
There was no indication that the game is in the slightest notable, or anything other than something you might have made up last night. If the game is notable, you need to cite reliable sources showing that. And if there are other articles that don't meet Wikipedia's standards of verifiability, please tag those as well. See WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS. NawlinWiki 02:39, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
