Hello and welcome to Wikipedia!
Here are some tips to help you get started:
- If you haven't already, please add your name to the new user log to let others know a little about yourself.
- Read the article describing how to edit a page and feel free to experiment in the Sandbox.
- When editing pages, use the preview button before submitting and try to fill in the summary box for every edit.
- Eventually, read the Manual of Style and Policies and Guidelines.
- If you need help, post a question in the Newcomers' Village Pump or ask me on my talk page.
- Explore, be bold in editing pages, and, most importantly, have fun!
Good luck!

P.S. One last helpful hint. To sign your posts like I did above (on talk pages, for example) use the '~' symbol. To insert just your name, type ~~~ (3 tildes), or, to insert your name and timestamp, use ~~~~ (4 tildes).
[edit] Cat's Eyes
Hi, I didn't add the comment about Botts dots to the request. Sorry if they are different, I didn't know and assumed that Botts Dots were just another nameEvil Monkey → Talk 06:42, Jan 25, 2005 (UTC)
- D'oh. It didn't occur to me that that text wasn't yours, which is doltish of me. Anyway, Bott's Dots were invented by a Mr. Bott, employed by the California Department of Transportation, and they aren't especially reflective. They're meant to rattle your car should you stray out of your lane.--Fred 06:48, 25 Jan 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Carole Landis photo
Hello I have reinstated the photo, the date should be 1940s. Please do not be so hasty in removing photos in the future, contact the person who added it or check the source which in this case is shown on the image page [1], the soldier who appears in the photo is shown the same age in several other photos marked 1940s. Thanks Arniep 22:42, 23 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] SoftSide software
Hello! I was searching recently for information regarding some early computer magazines and noticed on your user page that you were an editor at SoftSide. Would you happen to know where I might be able to find a list of the software that was published in SoftSide, or even if there is such a list? I'd love to expand WP's article on the magazine and include some details on the programs it published. Thanks! Huwmanbeing ☀★ 22:38, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
