Hi, I'm French and I've just read this article. At the beginning, it is written : "Near Lille (29 April) the French soldiers fled at sight of the Austrian outposts and murdered their general". This is not what is generally said in France. The guy who was killed is the maréchal de camp Dillon, who fought previously in North America for the independance of the US. He decided not to fight the Austrians and the soldiers, thinking he was a betrayer, killed him. The murderers were sentenced to death and Dillon was honored in the Panthéon. Maybe the French version is false. But then you need a source there to prove the opposite. 88.165.161.1 14:12, 4 November 2007 (UTC) (Stouf.157 for the fr: WP)
