[edit] Moved
I moved the name from Frei to Friar because friar is the English term.--70.158.89.185 14:09, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry, that was me, I forgot to log in.--Kungfu Adam (talk) 14:52, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
- I moved it back as the other languages use the term "frei"--Kungfu Adam (talk) 15:05, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Sainthood
Should this article be moved to Saint Galvão? --myselfalso 17:08, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
- I have created a redirect. I think it should be Friar Galvão, because that is the translation. I moved it before, but moved it back.--Kungfu Adam (talk) 18:37, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
- That would depend on the name by which he is most commonly known in English. --Grace 05:29, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Improper prose
"It is from here that he drew his strength to be of continuous service to other people." Is this a novel? No, it is an encyclopedia. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.69.14.35 (talk) 20:46, 13 May 2007 (UTC).
[edit] Article contradicts itself
The dates for him being declared Blessed and Venerable conflict. In the information box, it says he was beatified in 1998, but the article itself says he was declared venerable in that year. One of them has to be inaccurate. J.J. Bustamante 08:05, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
