[edit] Citation needed - King Jimmy

I just find it hard to beleive there was an African nation/tribe at the end of the 1700's led by a man with the name of King Jimmy. Creol 13:17, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

King Jimmy Market is a pretty important place in Freetown, and King Jimmy and King Tom did, indeed exist. I wonder how they took those names? Perhaps I'll learn when the redlinks get blued. Anyway, I added Shaw, page 37, as a reference. Please let me know if you would like any more citations for Sierra Leone related material. Thanks, Smmurphy(Talk) 07:52, 19 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Population estimates

I propose that we keep the official 2004 census data quoted in the Sierra Leone Encyclopedia and in various other places on the web, because other websites seem to give contradictory estimates which sometimes include the non-urban population of the district. dbfirs 20:57, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
