This site keeps having various statements made without sources given by an anonymous contributor; until these are given proper sources, I will remove them.

I've had a look at the version entered.

He definitely served as Rates Assessor and Constable's Officer (you have to start in the honorary police on the bottom rung) per his election flyer from the last election.

His election flyer also says studied accountancy in London but doesn't say he has any qualifications in that area or a degree.

I am also fairly certain that Steve Regal is the new head of the Jersey Jewish Congregation.

Think the 'Ozouf Campaign Team' is probably a bit too much of a personal viewpoint though.

http://www.cohen.je/preliminary.htm for his election flyer.

As nothing has been added I have revised according to the above link, please note that as this is a bigoraphy of a living person it requires a politician infobox and not a Jersey politics infobox, I will also complete recategorisation according to the rules for biographies.

Stephen Regan (not Steve) is the president of the Jersey Jewish Congregation. Election flyer is good enough source for trajectory through honorary police - however, not all honorary police do start at the bottom rung, even if this is a general rule (e.g. Geoff Cornwall). Lack of mention of qualifications does not constitute sufficient evidence for stating absence of qualifications. Glad you kept our Ozouf Campaign Team as this is more surmise than fact; given his popularity, I would consider FC a likely candidate against PO in the next chief minister election. Glad changes are not anonymous. Can you check with http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Man_vyi before totally removing Jersey Politicians umbrella.

Note Steve Regal links to a professional wrestler!!! I've removed the hyperlink. Please check before just adding assumed links. Very amusing though!

Since it comes up occasionally in edits of this site, purely as a matter of historical fact (I'm not a believer in conspiracy theories), F.E. Cohen does appear in the 1998 Jersey Masonic Calendar and Yearbook. (a) That does not mean he is a mason today, I've known some masons in Jersey who have left. (b) It could be of historical interest to anyone researching notable masons in the Channel Islands for academic purposes.
