[edit] Chinese characters

Can we get the spelling of his Chinese name in Chinese characters? What part of China did his ancestors come from? Is he of Cantonese origin? Badagnani 09:45, 7 April 2007 (UTC)

Chinese characters added. Answers to other questions needed. Badagnani (talk) 18:54, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

Chinese characters have no relevance for this American-born person, who doesn't work in China or in the Chinese language. Furthermore, even if it were relevant, what has been added is pure bullshit, unaccepable original research at best, totally unreferenced in any way whatsoever. Gene Nygaard (talk) 02:31, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

If you will take back the cursing, we can get into the sourcing. It is not unsourced and is in fact the Chinese name given to this individual by his parents. We either aim to have an encyclopedic article or we don't. Willfully blanking this individual's given Chinese name (given to him by his parents, as he is an overseas Chinese) does not enhance this article for our users and the blanking is absolutely unjustified. Badagnani (talk) 04:45, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

It is not encyclopedic. It has no relevance to this English Wikiepedia article, and you have offered none here. You are, of course, quite free to create a Chinese Wikipedia article so Chinese-speakers can read about him, and provide an interwiki link to that here. Gene Nygaard (talk) 14:34, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
English Wikipedia has never and never will BAN foreign characters. The Chinese names' relevance has been explained again and again and you simply refuse to understand. HkCaGu (talk) 16:20, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
