Why even bother about the copyright for the only known picture of Chopin? there is none, since it has expired. This is of great historical importance. My piano teacher said there were more pictures of him? can anyone confirm this? I've never heard of any.

Perhaps someone could add that swelling of the face (evident in the picture) is typical during the later stages of tuberculosis due to water retention?

..Is the swelling really that evident? his face seems normal to me...
