Non-free / fair use media rationale for Freelancer (computer game)
Description	An animated GIF displaying the various ships of the Liberty and Bretonian fleets. Note the relative scale of the fighters and the larger battleships. The latter are only several times larger than the former. Also note the designs which reviewers rated as uninspiring.

Portion used	This is composed of only two out of the millions of frames rendered by the video game, and hence insignificant.
Low resolution?	Yes
Purpose of use	This image is necessary to show off the artistic style of the game and to illustrate the scale of ships in the game and their designs, two points which were talked about by the reviewers.
Replaceable?	Microprose has not released any such images into the public domain, and a free replacement image could not be created that would adequately provide the same information
Other information	The use of this image neither detracts from the game nor inhibits its salability in any way. Microsoft has also stated the material released in the fan site kit are allowed for informational and non-commercial use.
