[edit] Summary
Freedom From Fear is a painting by Norman Rockwell, which was published in the March 13, 1943 Issue of The Saturday Evening Post as part of the “Four Freedoms” series. The work was also made into the war-time poster shown here to help motivate the civilian workforce. The United States Government Printing Office printed the posters in at least three sizes: 20 × 28, 28 × 40, and 40 × 56 inches.

This is an image of a war-time poster, is a production of the United States Office of War Information (OWI) and was printed by the United States Government Printing Office. The OWI sought—and received—permission from Norman Rockwell to use all four of his Four Freedoms paintings in the war effort. Thus, this image of the war-time poster (not the painting alone) is in the public domain.
