Deutsch: Das schwarz-weiße Bild zeigt den König nicht ganzfigurig. Der König ist von vorn dargestellt, der Kopf leicht gedreht im Halbprofil. Die mit einem Handschuh bekleidete linke Hand in die Seite gestützt, die Rechte auf den Krückstock. Der König trägt Uniform (Waffenrock mit umgelegter Offiziersschärpe, schwarze Halsbinde, Generalshut, Degen mit Portepee), dazu auf der linken Seite aufgenäht den gestickten (Ordenssterne aus Metall erst im 19. Jh.) den Bruststern des Schwarzen Adlerordens. Auf der rechten Schulter ist das geflochtene Achselband zu erkennen.

Zur Farbgebung: Der Rock dunkelblau ("Preußischblau") mit rotem Kragen und an den Ärmelenden ebensolchen roten Aufschlägen, die Knöpfe aus Metall sind silbern, ebenso die Offiziersschärpe und der Ordensstern. Der Hut - ein Dreispitz - schwarz mit weißem Federbesatz - der sog. "Plumage" -, den die Generale trugen.

Der König trägt den schlichten Interimsrock des 1. Bataillons Leibgarde seines Garde-Regiments (IR 15 der Stammliste von 1806).

Believe the author of this may have been a Frearson, or Frearson Brothers of Norseman, Dundas, Western Australia who had the first newspaper there. Also had newspaper in King Street, Adelaide where other family operated doing maps. Some brothers moved to Norseman 1890's and settled there some 18 years. Septimus Frearson was a Councillor of the Shire of Dundas at the time of proposed recession with newspaper articles related to visit by Premier John Forrest.
