Fresenius SE (FWB: FREG) is a health care company with approximately 100,000 employees, based in Bad Homburg, Germany.
Fresenius consists of three wholly-owned business units, Fresenius Biotech, Fresenius Kabi and Fresenius ProServe, and holds approximately 37% of Fresenius Medical Care.[2]
The American branch is headquartered in Waltham, Massachusetts.
On 2007-07-16, the company completed its conversion from an Aktiengesellschaft (AG -- German public limited company) to a Societas Europaea, a European Union-wide equivalent.[3]
