Frenchtown is a census-designated place (CDP) in Missoula County, Montana, United States. It is part of the 'Missoula, Montana Metropolitan Statistical Area'. The population was 883 at the 2000 census.

Frenchtown is located at (47.018780, -114.246205)[1].
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 3.3 square miles (8.5 km²), of which, 3.2 square miles (8.4 km²) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 km²) of it (0.91%) is water.

As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 883 people, 291 households, and 235 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 271.8 people per square mile (104.9/km²). There were 302 housing units at an average density of 92.9/sq mi (35.9/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 96.15% White, 1.59% Native American, 0.11% Asian, 0.79% from other races, and 1.36% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.81% of the population.
There were 291 households out of which 47.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 67.0% were married couples living together, 7.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 19.2% were non-families. 12.7% of all households were made up of individuals and 4.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 3.03 and the average family size was 3.32.
In the CDP the population was spread out with 34.3% under the age of 18, 6.5% from 18 to 24, 31.3% from 25 to 44, 22.7% from 45 to 64, and 5.3% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 34 years. For every 100 females there were 106.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 101.4 males.
The median income for a household in the CDP was $46,094, and the median income for a family was $45,938. Males had a median income of $36,118 versus $23,750 for females. The per capita income for the CDP was $21,225. None of the population or families were below the poverty line.

In 2007, April, a world wresling match took place from the WWE. Zac " Chubbs" Brewer, known for sitting on his opponets till they throw in the towl, was challenged by Julian Taylor. It started out as a fight with Keenan" Xzibit" Evans. Julian was about to perform his signature mnve, " The Grapevine" where out of no where Dustin " Hurricain" Haines to double Julian. As Julian was taking them both on, Chubbs came and performed his "Pop Squat" and Julian was down for the count. He demanded a rematch for the next year, knowing that Chubbs cost him the world championship. On April 26, 2008, they will meet again in Frenchtown 2: Judgement Day.
