Seven of ships of the French Navy have borne the name of Suffren, after the 18th Century admiral Pierre André de Suffren:

• A 74-gun ship of the line (1791–1794), renamed Redoutable in 1794 (and later fought at the Battle of Trafalgar

• An armoured frigate (1866–1897)
• The battleship Suffren (1899–1916)
• The cruiser Suffren (1926–1963)
• The missile frigate Suffren (D602, 1968– )
