French ship Duguay-Trouin

Ten vessels of the French Navy have been named Duguay-Trouin in honour of René Duguay-Trouin; among them:
- a 74-gun ship of the line (1781-1793)
- the 74-gun ship of the line Dugay-Trouin (1795-1805) captured by the British at the Battle of Trafalgar, renamed HMS Implacable, was the oldest ship of the line after the HMS Victory when she was scuttled in 1948
- a 74-gun ship of the line (1813-1824)
- a 90-gun ship of the line
- an ironclad cruiser (1873-1899)
- a training cruiser (1900-1914) transformed into a hospital (1914-1920)
- an 8000-tonne cruiser (1923-1952), lead ship of her class, which had a career in the Free French Forces
- the latest Duguay-Trouin was a F67 type frigate, decommissioned in 1999
- A Barracuda type submarine is schedule to bear the name
