In 2004-2005, Freedom's student body was White, non-Hispanic 52%; African American, non-Hispanic 22%; Hispanic 19%; Asian/Pacific Islander 3%; Multiracial 3%, American Indian/Alaskan Native <1%

Band

The Freedom High School band has more than doubled in size since the schools' opening. They have earned a Superior in marching in 2004, 2005, and 2007, as well as many jazz and concert Superiors. Many of its members consistently make All-County and other honors bands.
