Freebird Records is an independent record label, established in Eindhoven (The Netherlands) in 1998. The label has specialised in stoner rock, but tries to release music by acts and artists that are on the edge of this genre.[1] Right from the start the label had an international approach, with bands from United States, Chile, Brazil, Sweden, Finland, Germany and Italy. Freebird launched acts like Dozer, Astrosoniq, Wallrus, and Solace and is often regarded as a good first step into an international career.

The sublabel Under Her Black Wings was launched in 2005, and specialises in black metal and death metal.

Freebird has offices in Leiden (The Netherlands) and Nybro (Sweden).
