Free Culture Swarthmore

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Free Culture Swarthmore is a student group at Swarthmore College and the founding chapter of Students for Free Culture. It is better known by its former name, the Swarthmore Coalition for the Digital Commons, where it played a central role in the controversy over Diebold Election Systems (now Premier Election Solutions) and electronic voting machines in 2004. Its co-founders Luke Smith and Nelson Pavlosky sued Diebold for abusing copyright law in OPG v. Diebold.
