Free Clinic Cooperative

The Free Clinic Cooperative was founded in 2006 by Dr.David E Smith and is a non-profit project of the Smith Family Foundation. Its mission is to support newly forming and crisis Free Medical Clinics in the United States.
The Free Clinic Cooperative strives to support and maintain the philosophy established in the 1960's, that Healthcare is a right, not a privilege. The Free Clinic Cooperative believes that Healthcare should be free at the point of delivery for all who need it.
The Free Clinic Cooperative, along with the Smith Family Foundation, held a successful benefit concert on June 27, 2007 at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco, CA to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Summer of Love and to raise funds for free medical clinics.
