The FreeOsZoo (Free Operating systems Zoo) is a project to create as many QEMU disk images as possible with pre-installed open source operating systems. Images may be freely downloaded and prepared by anyone.

The project was created by Renzo Davoli, professor at University of Bologna, and is currently maintained by Stefano Marinelli.

Currently, images of several Linux distributions in different releases, BSD variants, Darwin, ReactOS, and other systems are available; they can be downloaded using BitTorrent.

There is also an experimental service named Free Live OS Zoo (FLOZ) where some of the disk images can be tested directly by the web browser. FLOZ starts a QEMU virtual machine on the web server side and users interacts with the virtual machine screen by a Java-based tight Virtual Network Computing (VNC) client.
