Fredrikstad stadion

Fredrikstad Stadion was the homeground of the Norwegian Premier League side Fredrikstad F.K. until the end of the The 2006 season, due to their new and modernized stadium at the borough of Kråkerøy, only a few minutes away from the city center.

The old stadium had a long history since it was built in the '20s. But it was nonetheless highly worn out and out of date at the end. There are currently plans to tear the entire stadium down, and use the area to build flats and/or offices. These plans are however not confirmed, and the stadium currently works as the home venue for the reserves and the junior squad.

The total capacity of the stadium was approximately 10,500. The spectator's record is approximately 15,000.
