Frederick L. Jenks

Frederick L. "Rick" Jenks is a professor at Florida State University (FSU). A member of the faculty of the College of Education there, he is also founder and director of The Center for Intensive English Studies (CIES) at FSU.

Jenks is a doctoral graduate of Wayne State University and has been a professor at FSU since 1971.

Jenks received the Heinle & Heinle Award for Excellence in Teaching from the Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) in 2002.
