Frederick Jones

Frederick Jones (1885 – 1966) was a New Zealand politician of the Labour Party.
He was the Member of Parliament for two Dunedin seats: Dunedin South from 1931 to 1946, and then St Kilda from 1946 to 1951, when he was defeated.
He was Minister of Defence from 1935 to 1949, and from 1958 to 1961 was High Commissioner to Australia.
