Frederick Sylvester Hird (December 6, 1879 – September 27, 1952) was an American sports shooter from New Diggings, Wisconsin who competed in the 1912 Summer Olympics in Stockholm, Sweden.[1] He won gold medal in 50 m small-bore rifle, prone, and obtained bronze medals in 25 metre team small-bore rifle as well as in 50 metre team small-bore rifle.[2]
