Frederick Edward Ridgeway

Frederick Edward Ridgeway was an Anglican Bishop from 1901 until his death 20 years later[1]. He was born in 1848 and educated at Tonbridge School and Clare College, Cambridge. Ordained in 1872 he held Incumbencies at St Mary the Virgin, Glasgow (from 1878[2]) and St Peter’s, Kensington(from 1890 until his elevation to the Episcopate) . He was initially the inaugural Bishop of Kensington[3] and latterly Salisbury.
