Freddy dos Santos

Freddy dos Santos (born October 2, 1976 in Oslo, Norway) is a player of the Norwegian football club Vålerenga.
Dos Santos is a versatile player, capable of playing in defence, midfield and attack. He is responsible for taking Vålerenga's penalty kicks. His former clubs are Skeid and Molde.
In July of 2006, dos Santos launched a single, This Is For Real, together with four other professional Norwegian footballers - Morten Gamst Pedersen, Raymond Kvisvik, Kristofer Hæstad, and Øyvind Svenning. They call their band The Players.
Also in July 2006, the radio program FK Fotball ("FootballClub Football" in English) on NRK P3 (the Norwegian Broadcasting company's youth-channel), in which Freddy dos Santos is a regular guest, launched a campaign to get Freddy dos Santos into the national football team of Cape Verde, the country of origin of his father.
