Alfredo Novelo, better known as Freddy Novelo (b. February 29, 1960 in Merida, Mexico) is a world renowned philanthropist and art collector.
He is the youngest Fabergé collector in the world[citation needed] and owner of the largest Russian Imperial collection (1613-1918) in Latin America[citation needed] and one of the 10 most important Fabergé collections in the world.[citation needed]
Novelo has received honorable awards worldwide for his philanthropic works and is the first American to receive the “Imperial Romanoff Order” (Romanov) and is an honorary cathedratic in art history for the State University of Human Sciences in Russia.[citation needed]
