[edit] Early work
Williams has said that after reading a copy of the Uncanny X-Men issue 272 with art by Jim Lee, he was inspired to become a comic book artist from the age of 15. While attending the 2005 San Diego Comic-Con Williams submitted a portfolio to the DC talent search. As a result he was hired to do a Seven Soldiers issue featuring Mister Miracle, and some fill in issues for Aquaman. [2]
[edit] Mainstream
In 2006 Williams signed an exclusive contract with DC comics. [3] He became the regular artist on Robin from issue 149 in 2006. In early 2008 he started illustrating the Flash comic.
[edit] Digital Artwork
Williams trained in traditional art methods but now works almost exclusively in Digital format with only special commissions and a few pages being done with pen and ink. [4]
[edit] Other media
Williams appears frequently on Comic Book related podcasts including Comic Geek Speak, Half Hour Wasted, Raging Bullets and Fanboy Radio.
He has posted online tutorials about using digital artwork in comics. [5]
