Fred Weir

Fred Weir is a Canadian journalist who lives in Moscow and specializes in Russian affairs. He is Moscow correspondent for In These Times and regular contributor to the Christian Science Monitor, The Independent, and the South China Morning Post. He is also the Moscow correspondent of Hindustan Times, India's premier English daily.

He is the co-author of Revolution from Above: The Demise of the Soviet System (1996) ISBN 0-415-14317-9
