Fred Way (born February 9, 1944) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with South Melbourne in the VFL.
A knock ruckman, Way played six games in his debut season in 1964 but didn't play at all the following year. His second stint at South Melbourne, beginning in 1969, was more successful and in his first season back he finished second in his club's Best and fairest. He also represented Victoria at the 1969 Adelaide Carnival and in 1970 played VFL finals football for the first time.
