Fred Matua (born January 14, 1984 in Wilmington, California) is an American football guard who is currently a practice squad player for the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League. He was originally drafted by the Detroit Lions in the seventh round (217th overall) of the 2006 NFL Draft. He played college football at Southern California.

He was drafted on the second day by the National Football League's Detroit Lions but was cut by the team and was signed to the Tennessee Titans practice squad. On October 28, 2006, he was signed to the Cleveland Browns roster.

While playing college football for the USC Trojans, Matua was an All-American in 2005.

Matua prepped at Banning High School in Los Angeles, California where he won the LA City 4A City Championship his senior year, under his uncle Ed Lalau as the head coach.

His distant cousin is Manu Tuiasosopo, father of former Oakland Raiders and now New York Jets quarterback Marques Tuiasosopo.
