Fred Gehrke (born April 24, 1918 in Salt Lake City, Utah, died February 9, 2002 in Palm Springs, California) was a National Football League running back for the Los Angeles Rams from 1945 through 1949. He is credited for designing the Rams logo in 1948, which was the first painted on the helmets of an NFL team. He later was the general manager of the Denver Broncos from 1977 through 1981.
