Fred Anderson (born in Cape Town, South Africa) was an South African rugby league player predominately for the Canterbury Bulldogs but also for the South Sydney Rabbitohs in the New South Wales Rugby League premiership competition. He also represented the South Africa national rugby league team on two occasions in 1963, his position of choice was at hooker.
