[edit] Please look before you leap.
That image is speculation, so is a healthy part of the section. please look at the reason for it being there before you act. Pure inuyasha 17:10, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] William Durden
Here is the text from http://www.dickinson.edu/about/president/bio.html :
- He was Director of the Center for Talented Youth at The Johns Hopkins University for 16 years and for 11 years, simultaneously served as senior education consultant to the US Department of State, chairing its Advisory Committee on Exceptional Children and Youth.
- Dr. Durden has also served as President of the Sylvan Academy of Sylvan Learning Systems, Inc. and Vice President for Academic Affairs of the Caliber Learning Network, a joint distance-learning venture of Sylvan and MCI Corporation. Recently, he was appointed to the Advisory Board of the Center for the International Exchange of Scholars, Fulbright Scholar Program.
Here is the text you keep reverting to keep in the William Durden article.
- He was Director of the Center for Talented Youth at The Johns Hopkins University for 16 years. For 11 of those years he simultaneously served as a senior education consultant to the US Department of State, chairing its Advisory Committee on Exceptional Children and Youth.
- Durden has also served as President of the Sylvan Academy of Sylvan Learning Systems, Inc. and Vice President for Academic Affairs of the Caliber Learning Network, a joint distance-learning venture of Sylvan and MCI Corporation. Recently, he was appointed to the Advisory Board of the Center for the International Exchange of Scholars, Fulbright Scholar Program.
Why do you keep insisting that copied material stay in the article? If you want the information in the article, please rewrite it and reference it appropriately. -Medtopic 04:01, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Previewing references
Regarding your comment for this change: "syntax typo, wish I could preview refs", it appears that the references section is visible if there's a <references/> in the chunk you're editing. Edit the whole page instead of just a section, or else (temporarily:) put a <references/> at the end of the section while you're editing it. DMacks 20:53, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for the tag suggestion, very helpful. - Frankie
[edit] Your planets image
This image is, unfortunately, inaccurate. It uses the older measurement of Xena before they realized it was almost the same size as Pluto. Your image shows it as significantly bigger. Could you please fix it using the most recent measurements? Thank you. --Cyde Weys 17:02, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
See this image for a more accurate reprsentation of the size differential between the two planets. --Cyde Weys 17:06, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks, my followup is at Talk:Mesoplanet. - Frankie
