[edit] Nice work on Wood County Townships
Great work! Just a suggestion: You can categorize your articles by including [[Category:Wood County, Ohio]]. utcursch | talk 17:46, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
- Oh, I already added a category to all your previous articles. So, no need to worry. utcursch | talk 18:01, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
Hi good work but are you going to write a little about them? James Janderson 12:55, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
Hi that's great its just as long as nobody deletes them. Some users might see an empty page and put it up for deletion. Keep it up! James Janderson 13:02, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Great job on Northwest Ohio map
The map of Northwest Ohio looks great and it makes the article stand out dramatically. You did say that you recieved the map fro US Census, where is the website? I want to possibly make some maps and modigy them (which I did, but with different maps). Do you have any clue on tagging pictures? If you could answer, please visit my talk page.User:Jordanrschroeder.
[edit] Colleges in American Samoa
Thanks for creating the list of colleges and universities in American Samoa. I was skipping that territory because I didn't know that it had any colleges. Good job on formatting that list. —Cswrye 21:24, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Kelleys Island Township question
Hi Frank12, I was wondering where you got your information that Kelleys Island, Ohio is a current township in Erie County, Ohio in the article you made: Kelleys Island Township, Erie County, Ohio? The official website for Erie County lists Kelleys Island as a village and not a township [1], so I removed it from the Erie County page list of Townships. I will nominate the Kelleys Island Township, Erie County, Ohio article for deletion in 24 hours unless you can back up your article with verifiable sources. Thanks, Ruhrfisch 00:41, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] 1922 Big Ten football champions
[2] I am not saying that this can not be wrong but where did you get chicago as co 22 football champsSmith03 19:51, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
I look at the 2006 Big Ten football media guide today. The Big Ten lists Chicago as co champs for 1922. I would bet they probably always have the mistake was probably made by www.cfbdatawarehouse.com/data/conference_champs/champions.php?conid=22 not realizing that Chicago was also an undefeated team. I also corrected Purdue for 1932 Smith03 23:21, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Handy Website
Just for referencing, a lot of the Ohio township maps I made came from this US Census webiste: [3]
[edit] A typo?
Man, I just gotta ask... how is this a typo? Just (insanely) curious... --Reverend Loki 21:01, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
- Fair enough :) --Reverend Loki 22:15, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Northwest Ohio template
Excellent idea! I plan on adding that template to my user page once I get time. Jordanrschroeder
- Also, I know your specialty is in geography. I was wondering if you could create a map for the following article:
- Metro Columbus (Columbus, Ohio Metropolitan Area)
- I was wondering if you could create it and include the following counties: Delaware, Fairfield, Franklin, Licking, Madison, Morrow, Pickaway, and Union. The combined statistical area includes the counties of Fayette, Knox, and Marion. If you could add all those counties to this map, that would be great!
- But, if you don't think you can do it -- thats fine. I am not very good at creating these type of maps is all. Thank you for your time! Jordanrschroeder 21:57, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Metropolitan Area Maps (Metro Columbus)
Excellent work on all the metropolitan area maps, specifically Metro Columbus! And I believe you already have the image of Metro Columbus inside of the infobox? Unless I do not fully understand. Thanks again! Jordanrschroeder 15:32, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Alaska superimposed on the United States
Hey,
I really like what you did with Alaska superimposed on the United States. It's really hard to get perspective from a map if you don't have something like that.
I'm an exchange student in Rheda-Wiedenbrück, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, and I'm from Fairfax, Virginia, USA. I'm teaching a cultural studies class at the high school where I'm doing my exchange. The class covers all countries that speak English. I'm finding that the students (and I) have difficulty grasping the scale of the United States compared to Germany. Do you know of a map with Germany superimposed on the United States? Or possibly the European Union? I have searched extensively in the Internet for one. Would you be able to make one? If not, could you point me in the right direction to how I could get such a map? Thanks! KevinPuj 17:28, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
Cool! Thanks for the map. Let me know about any further work you do. The comparisons I always use for America and Germany are that Germany is about the size of Montana and that America is about twice the size of the European Union. That map is excellent for perspective. But once again, keep me updated. Thanks! KevinPuj 21:43, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Macomber-Whitney.
Hello Frank: I am working on this project (http://www.archsculptbooks.com/home.htm) and am looking for more information about Macomber Vocational High School than I'm finding in wikipedia. I particularly need/want the name of the architect, the street address - and, a real long shot, anything about the sculpture on the building. Also, is the place abandoned? Destroyed? Used for raves? What is happening there now? I look forward to hearing from you. Carptrash 23:36, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] CSA Maps
I had just started creating the article on the Mansfield-Bucyrus, OH Combined Statistical Area. I was wondering if you can make a CSA map of the Mansfield-Bucyrus, OH CSA to put in the upper right of the article. I see that you did that for the Toledo-Fremont, OH CSA.---OHWiki 00:24, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Western Buckeye League map
St. Marys Memorial is spelled incorrectly on the map you created. It isn't a catholic school, so it is spelled with no apostrophe. It is simply spelled "St. Marys Memorial".
And I was wondering...could you make a map that includes Bellefontaine, Coldwater, Delphos St. John's, and Bluffton on it along with all the current members? I want to put a map similar to the one you have created under the "former members" area of the article. (if you have time...thanks!) Ohio614 (talk) 19:43, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
- If you are keeping the current schools on the map with the former members (which would be great)...you might not have enough room in Allen County to place Bluffton or Delphos St. John's...you could include Bluffton in Hancock County (since Bluffton is part of both counties) and include Delphos St. John's in Van Wert County (since Delphos is part of both counties). Just a suggestion. Thanks for working on it. Ohio614 (talk) 22:50, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] OHSAA article cleanup
Hey there. I noticed you created or edited many of the articles listed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Pioneer Conference. It was mentioned a WikiProject collaboration be set forth to make these articles similar in layout. I was wondering if you thought it would be a good idea to post the contents of User talk:Stepshep/Sandbox at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Pioneer Conference and if you would be willing to help head the effort? Let me know what you think. §hep • ¡Talk to me! 00:53, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
