THIS USER HAS LEFT WIKIPEDIA
I have things that I want to do in life: I want to study for an MBA and I want to get more involved in the community. I worked on Wikipedia because I liked the fact that people here respect me and because I was contributing to the greater good (i.e. an encyclopedia). However in recent months I have been receiving more vandalism, abuse and death threats than ever before and that became greater than the respect I was getting from my friends. So Wikipedia was getting in the way of my ambitions and not contributing to them, and I have never beaten about the bush with regard to achieving my personal goals. Therefore I have closed this account down and do not intend to ever open it again. I think Wikipedia is a fantastic resource and I look forward to using it more in the future for that purpose, however the vandals have total control of this site and admin-bashing has now become the norm.
If anyone would like to contact me my email provider is yahoo.com. However I reserve the right to not reply.

- Hey Francs. Well, it appears another great editor has left Wikipedia. Daniel (above) was right, I will certainly miss you a lot. You cheered me up greatly whenever I was feeling blue, and made my day better whenever we talked. I hope you return one day, but until then, wherever you go, I hope you have a great time doing it. Cheers and good luck mate. — The King of Kings 21:45 July 16 '06

- I'm sorry to see you go, but I fully understand. I was gone for over a year before I finally got my steam back up and decided to re-enter the cesspool that parts of Wikipedia has become. If you never come back, take solace in the good work that you did here. If you decide to come back, you will be welcomed. User:Zoe|(talk) 20:14, 20 July 2006 (UTC)

- Wikipedia is having a major break down right now. I can understand francs leavin for a good cause. But Moe, things that are brought up by him are in his favor, he is correct every single time, and why I dont spend too much time on here, its true, wikipedia upholds its great laws then allows someone to break em and nothing is goin down. Shame... I only check to see how yall have yet again...made some error, against moe, i aint on much but, i do care that moe has left...Hope he comes back, he will b hearin from me by e mail. Well, if i have anymore rants, you will hear from me.....a dang shame (I would say damn but, I dunno if yall like censor or things like that).---Slipknot222 09:22, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
- I feel bad that you left. In fact, I had come to wish you on the ocassion of your first edit day. I think that real life issues are important, but still continuing the association with wikipedia would have been no impediment to your real life ambitions. Let the vandals do their tricks, we are capable of dealing with them. All the best in your real life. You may respond, if you so wish, by sending me an e-mail. Thanks and reards. --Bhadani 00:40, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
- I enjoyed our conversations. I just came back myself after a long selfemposed leave of absence for similar reason. I may leave again. --71Demon 21:36, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
- And you're the one that welcomed me to wikipedia :( PseudoNym
- I know its late to say, but i have also recently returned. It is sad to see you go esecially since you gave me such a great welcome. Hope you achieve your goals. --Duck6 —Preceding comment was added at 10:38, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
