[edit] BP/Valrith/List
Hi, FranchisePlayer. Thanks for the note. I've put in my 2-cents at the talk page. Dekkappai 19:15, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Unblock
Here's what triggered this indefinite block, [1]
First please note that in both the edit itself and the edit summary, I mentioned discussions on the article talk page. Since it only took four seconds for the revert, it is clear the admin did not even bother to read it.
There are two discussions on the talk page. One is from several months ago and is now in the archives. Another is recent. I previously restored the link five days ago, and a participant in the discussion deleted it, stating the discussion was still ongoing. So I waited for further comments on the talk page. No one added anything to the discussion for the week, so I restored the link, and I got reverted in four seconds and indefinitely blocked. Why?
The two discussions heavily focused on whether the link was spam. Whoever is reviewing this case, please look at the discussions to see the time and effort both sides put in to resolve this issue. I thought discussion among editors was the right way on Wikipedia to sort out issues. I never thought it was up to a single admin to decide them in four seconds. I also mentioned why a lot of my edits were about this page on that talk page, so I won't repeat it here.
In conclusion, I was engaged in a civil discussion with other editors about the appropriateness of this link. I clearly linked to the talk page in the edit summary. I do not believe it is possible to read everything in the four seconds that the blocking admin took. This is clearly a wrong block. --FranchisePlayer (talk) 22:35, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
