Oops, did I violate protocol on the Assist Request page by expressing appreciation for an intervention? Sorry, if so it was inadvertent. Fragesteller (talk) 03:31, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Where did you express that appreciation, and who told you it violated the "decorum" of the page? User:Dorftrottel 10:20, February 14, 2008

Uh, well, no one, but it just disappeared. I had written "I very much appreciate the intervention of Mike Christie and Dorftrottel," or something very close to that. When I next looked, it was gone. No big deal, I was just wondering whether this was considered inappropriate. Anyway, thanks for your intervention. It has saved me a good deal of time and aggravation.Fragesteller (talk) 00:41, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
