Frank Poe
Frank Poe (3rd May 1972 - present) is a well respected, civil engineer who resides in Wellington, New Zealand. He owns and operates his own engineering consulting firm called 'Poe Engineering'. Their motto is 'no job too small or too menial, we do it all!'. Poe recently became well known in New Zealand when he won a $500 raffle run by the Wellington Boy Scouts Brigade. Poe received nationwide media attention, and was interviewed on Campbell Live by well respected journalist and liberal, John Campbell.
Frank likes to spend his spare time painting, and is a well respected artist in the Wellington arts community. He has several paintings on display at Te Papa, the national museum, and recently, one sold at auction for $60.00.
Indeed, Frank was rumoured to have stopped at Mayfield, Mid Canterbury, during a holiday around the South Island in 2005. According to legend, he purchased an ice-cream from the local store. The ice-cream stick is currently on display in a framed cabinet in the local tavern.
