Hi Angel / Ashlaw I'm not sure ALL of the following are your questions.

RE - BOSE

Are Bose 'High-End' systems, or not? I can find 6 citations at least refering to bose systems as high-end systems, and none against. Your input on the Bose (company) talk page would be appreciated ASH1977LAW ASH1977LAW 18:14, 18 March 2007 (UTC)

I am no expert on this topic, really. And I think "high end" is not a well-defined term. My own thought is that "high end" systems are very high priced, say, speakers at $2000 each, or more, and systems costing many thousands of dollars. In those terms none of the consumer audio products Bose sells qualify. And Bose Corporation no longer spends much time on the Audiophile market where "high end" is relevant. What they ARE focussed on is high quality sound that is judged to sound very good by the average consumer, NOT the audiophile. In my own view, the Bose 901 is much the best sounding speaker system but many in the audiophile community disagree and I have NO argument with them. I, like Amar Bose, feel that YOU should be the judge of what YOU like. Period.

I know ther must be a lot of spanish speaking readers out there trying to understand the english version and not being able to. So where do I send it to? And by the way, where can I find a copy of his "growing up" biography? I haven't been able to find it in the books I've read. I do not know where you will find the Glasser "Growing Up" biography. There is some information about him on the Glasser Institute web site. And you can address your inquiry to him directly at the Glasser Institute:

RE - BOSE/NASA Do you know which headsets are used on the shuttle? I can't find infomation on the exact model. ASH1977LAW 07:19, 3 May 2007 (UTC)

I don't know which model. I suspect it is one of the professional aviation headsets sold only in the aviation market. A call to 1-800-Ask-Bose might get you the answer.
