Frank's career first began at 1,000 watt daytime, WLND-AM (now WKTX-AM) in Cortland, Ohio as morning news anchor, weekend DJ and host of the "Treasure Chest of Bargains Show." He then moved to Cleveland shortly afterwards to attend Cleveland State University. That was 19 years ago and he's been a part of Cleveland broadcasting ever since.
So far, his radio station travels have taken him to WRRO-AM 1440/Youngstown (On-Air), WDOK-FM 102.1/Cleveland (On-Air), WRMR-AM 850 (Assistant Program Director & On-Air), WWWE-AM 1100/Cleveland (Promotions Coordinator), WNWV-FM 107.3/Cleveland (On-Air), WEOL-AM 930/Elyria (On-Air), WOBL-AM/1320 (On-Air), WKNR/AM 1220 (Indians Net Board Op) & Jones Radio Network's Smooth Jazz format as Programming Assistant.
His "big break" into TV came at WKYC in June 1994 as a studio technician (audio, master, tape and satellite). In 1995, he was promoted to weekend Director of Channel 3 News at 6 & 11 PM and did fill in on the other newscasts.
In 1997, Frank became a full-time Producer/Director and has since become the Senior Director handling Channel 3's 6, 7 & 11 PM newscasts, Akron Canton News at 6:30 & 10 PM, and Sportstime Ohio for "Indians On Deck" and "Talking Tribe."
Frank also received an regional Emmy nomination for his work on "Browns Tonight" on WKYC in 2003 and for "Channel 3 News at 11 PM" in 2007
