He died on the 21st, not to 22nd. Stop vandalizing this with false information. All sources say he died on the 21st, I can not find any information that says the 22nd.

I just looked it up. He died on Saturday, which was the 22nd. Here's an english source Reuters. All german sources I've checked list his death on the morning of the 22nd.

The article says 'German media reported saturday', not that he died saturday. However, I cannot find any articles that say definitely the date of his death so in the absence of something concrete I suggest we keep it on the 22nd. Recent Deaths was updated sometime yesterday to the 22nd. --Syrthiss 12:08, 24 October 2005 (UTC)
The article you posted is dated the 22nd, yes, but it doesn't say that he died that day. 66.24.4.236 19:05, 24 October 2005 (UTC)
Alright, I found a source.

Time zones prbly play a key role it could have been the 21st say PST where as it could be 22nd in Germany...

RIP indeed. Do we have a fair use source for the Captain's face? It's hard to believe that we don't have a picture of him, but I can't find anything that definitively agrees with Wikipedia's policies. Eugenitor (talk) 09:12, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
