I've deleted the section copied from allmusic, as well as some of the POV language. The Irish Times obituary is a good starting point for beefing up this article. Patterson deserves a proper entry in Wikipedia that acknowledges his huge contribution to music. Jim Bruce (talk) 16:08, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
