[edit] "Stretch"?
When was he called Stretch? I don't remember that at all. --Brandon Dilbeck 19:00, 22 August 2006 (UTC)

- Homer says, "Hiya Stretch, what's the good word?" when he meets Grimes in the cafeteria (while he's eating Grimes' lunch). He's called "stretch" once by homer, it's a stretch to say that he's called stretch, if ya know what i mean. -Taco325i 05:48, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Hand wiping
I disagree that this information should be included as it is completely uninteresting and unimportant to the character.-Localzuk(talk) 18:49, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
- That's just your opinion. I actually found it very interesting when I read it and it helped me remember that a little since I haven't seen it in a while. Pacaman! 02:14, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
- If you don't like the trivia, perhaps we should just add a "Character traits" section? -- I Can See Your Doodle 16:07, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Favorite Character
I know this sounds utterly fannish and probably juvenile but I just need to say it. Frank Grimes is my favorite Simpsons character ever. He's just that awesome. Any agreeing? 71.171.66.40 02:48, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Merge?
I propose that this article be merged to list of one-time characters from The Simpsons. Reason: Frank Grimes is a one-time character from The Simpsons. Punkmorten 13:31, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
- It's already survived several merge proposals, but Frank Grimes is an important enough character within the Simpson universe that he deserves a page. -- Scorpion 14:52, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Humor Analysis
I wish there was someway to add or make reference to how Homer's and the rest of the cast's constant disrespect to Frank Grimes after his demise (such as to his tombstone and toward his illegitimate son) is the same exact behavior which caused him to snap in the first place and led to his eventual accidental death. In this way the entire joke for which he was made for is brought up again and again. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.193.238.1 (talk) 08:57, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Grimes1.gif
Image:Grimes1.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 07:47, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
