[edit] Slander
User:158.106.52.10 has twice added unreferenced comments on Beamer's coaching style. I'm afraid these remarks could be considered slander, so I have removed them. I also invited 158.106.52.10 to re-add them if they could be referenced. They were re-add, but not referenced. Clerks. 13:45, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Scar? and North Carolina?
Is Beamer's scar notable enough in its own right to merit an entire subheading?
Are you kidding? Of course it is. The thing is infamous in the CFB blogging circuit. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.209.95.18 (talk) 23:33, August 29, 2007 (UTC)
Also, how is this article relevant to Wikiproject North Carolina? Aside from Beamer considering a job offer from UNC several years ago, it's not clear what connection there is. Darwin16 20:05, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
- Beamer is from North Carolina ... although I don't know that having it in the Wikiproject area makes a lot of sense because the article is not really one that is going to enhance Wikipedia 1.0's coverage of that state. As for the scar, I agree whole-heartedly ... a lot of people are just too obsessed with it. --B 22:38, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
- I admit I had no idea about the scars --now I can't not see it-- I appreciate its inclusion and explanation. --Bobak 23:33, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

- Beamer was born in North Carolina but he spent all of his youth in Virginia. The only reason he was born in North Carolina is because it's the closest hospital to his hometown. I'm not sure what Wikiproject North Carolina's standards are for inclusion but this one seems questionable. --Rtphokie 00:06, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
