The following comments were left by the assessors: (edit · refresh) I'm amazed at how little information is available on Wikipedia about the Franconian wine-producing region. The article posted here was very badly written, but as a concession, English was clearly not the author's first language. -Possibly not a language he author knows at all! In any case I cleared it up for grammar a bit, but I'd sure like to see greater awareness of this regions wines, and better content from someone with some authority on the subject. Sadly, Franconian wines are nearly impossible to find anywhere in the world outside of the region itself. As the article points out, the majority of the Franconian wine produced is consumed in Franconia. They apparently export very little, so enjoy the treat if you happen to travel to the region. |
