Talk:Francisco Javier Sánchez Broto
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
As an Airdrie fan I fondly recall Francisco Javier Sánchez Broto from his years at the club - the two of us once shared a taxi to Dingwall! Great article anyway, I'll see all you fans at next years Francisco Javier Sánchez Broto parade in Rutherglen! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.64.227.225 (talk) 16:08, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
Article sections deleted due to factual inaccuracy.
article sections undeleted. Much of it is obviously accurate and backed up by sources, the rest is just missing a few sources. Farannan 17:24, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
No reference to his fame in the Indian Sub Continent following the "Face of Broto in the Chapati" incident. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mtcassidy (talk • contribs) 17:25, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
Article sections restored. If specific sections are to be challenged, well and good, but people have worked hard sourcing this article about a genuinely remarkable individual. There's no need to butcher the whole thing just because they may allegedly have exaggerated a few things. Why don't we just wait for the biography before chucking this all in the bin? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 145.116.234.232 (talk) 17:55, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
- While those sections may make a good article for Uncyclopedia, Wikipedia articles need to be based on verifiable sources, not urban legend. Oldelpaso 19:13, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
- 145.116.234.232 - if you have sources, say what they are. "Encyclopedic content must be verifiable." --Malcolmxl5 20:58, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
Following Spanish naming customs, the surname of Francisco Javier Sánchez Broto is Sánchez Broto or Sánchez. Some of the linked articles have this wrong but wikipedia should not.Farannan 14:40, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
